After sitting on the fence about watcing it, not sure if it'd be my type of film, the overwhelming Ryan Renolds + Mark Ruffalo convinced me to have a go last night. I'm glad I did. It's a good sci-fi/time travel adventure and Ryan Renolds is very good in it. There's more serious stuff still enough (plenty) of the usual slick RR humor we come to expect of him, and young Walker Scobell as a young Adam/Ryan Renolds was also suprising good also. For a big sci-fi romp, and slick humour this film also has a lot of heart, which is what makes it good IMO. The father son (+ son) relationship is what makes this film really work.
