I've let myself down this year...
Usually I watch it everytime, I've always liked watching the olympics but I think when it turned into real love for it was the 2012 Olympics, being on our homeground UK and doing so well. Over the years I had always watched the woman's gymnastics, but not so much the men's but with our incredible young team for men's gymnastics back then (Louis Smith, Max Whitlock, Sam Oldham et al) I found myself hooked and enthralled. Finding a new repect for not just what it takes physically but mentally as well with the various equipment (Rings, pommel etc). I ended up following their careers closly after and it led me on to other bright stars (Nile Wilson, Simone Biles, Brinn Bevan, Jay Thompson, Hamish carter, Bram Verhofstad and later Rhys McClenaghan.)
I also have always enjoyed watching the swimming, the skiing and now the snowboarding (Quite the story with Red gerald in PyeongChang in 2018).
I don't why I haven't watched it this year, maybe because of the delay from last year with everything, I just haven't had the hype this year I usually have.
