Plot synopsis: Young Cole's parents are out for the night so he's left in charge by thehot babysitter, of which he already seems to be good friends with. When his best friend (And possible love interest) asks Cole "Don't you know what babysitters get up to when your asleep?", Cole stays up to find out much to his regret when he witness a satanic ritual among the babysitter and her friends. They also need fresh youn - innocent blood and cCole is next up in line for sacrifice!
Thoughts: I had to mention this film as it's been on my mind since the few days I watched it for the first time during the Halloween period. It was reccomended by a friend, for the longest time, maybe even since last Halloween so I finally sat down and decided to givew it a go. The Babysitter is a very silly but extremly enjoyable movie of silly fun and horror, it's very quirky with it's writing and sense of humour leading to some very wtf moments. Judah Lewis and Samara Weaving are both great in their roles as Cole tries to defend himself not having the best of luck with the local school bullies let alone these older teenagers trying to kill him!
As well as being a very fun, silly film, it's also got a great soundtrack including Queen's We Are The Champions (Never saw that moment coming!). I haven't seen the sequel, yet, not sure if it's any good, but I really liked this film. If you don't take it oo seriously and just as the silly fun it was intended as you'll get a kick out of it as well!
