How do you deal with this and combat it?

Constantly, and I'd be lying if I said it didn't effect me negativley. (And wonder if it's all worth it)
Of course there is the big social media Vs message boards a(And not many people using them any more), but I just tackle it mainly; by continuing to try to be active and kee makinbg new content. Sometimes this not enough however and as mentioned (Effecting me negitivley) it will cause me to drop off a bit at times. Sometimes as well as keeping making new content I'll just try and go on an advertising spree, but even that's limited unless you're happy to shell out endlessly on money.
