Seriously though,
I was watching it again just the other day, and I still enjoy it so much as a grown ass man of 44 years old. I first saw it probably when it was on TV when I was 10 years old round a friends house. Although it may be dark for very young kids, I believe it's a film every child should watch over a certain age. Whilst certain things may not have aged well (Gmork puppet and it's twitchy nose) there's such underlying good values that only a certified grump could not like it. Values about reading, standing up for yourself and believing in yourself and never giving up on your dreams etc.
What do you think about this film? Favourite characters or scenes/moments? I love to have a big old chat with you about it.

I remember watching this when I was a kid. It was a nice fantasy kids movie. I had to search for what the white dragon was named- Falkor. I always thought of him as a dog though with that face lol I felt it helped the kid as well as us kids who were watching it, stand up & believe in ourselves.

Yeah I think two of the biggst things that came out in people's memories (Then with the rise of the internet) was 1) thinking the dragon was a giant dog and 2) wondering what Bastian's nother's name was that he shouted out! (As well as kids being traumatized by the death of Atreyu's horse, Artax.)
