Virus permitting of course, or are you just have=ing a regular family Christmas
Although here in the UK the tier rules for the pandemic will be relaxed, unfortunetly with lots of things I won't be seeing them this Christmas and will have to give it a miss this year due to "Bubbles" and othere stuff. Of course I'm dissapointed and would really like to go, but I would rather stay safe more than anything and I'm not sure I trust the goverments advice. The UK could very well end up in another lockdown come January, and we're only about to end our 2nd one tomorrow.
So what are your plans?

Well seeing as Christmas is already over, I still thought I'd give you my two cents as to what I did.
In the crazy year that was 2020, myself and my family (my mom, sister and little dog) just spent the day together. The night prior (Christmas Eve) was spent watching my two favorite Christmas movies; The Santa Clause and Jingle All The Way. I had non alcoholic eggnog, my mom had coffee and my sister had hot cocoa.
For Christmas Day, we unwrapped gifts, dispersed during midday and around 4pm we had Christmas dinner. Which consisted of ham, mashed potatoes, green beans and corn.
All in all it was a great Christmas. I hope there's many more to come!

Nice!
As I didn't go away to my family this year because of the virus I had to cook my own Christmas dinner, which was interesting... I'm not much of a cook to say the least so it was an adventure! I follwed some guides though and the hock of Gammon I got came out lovely however thanks to the coca-cola. There was almost an accident the next day (I swear I didn't think my oven glove was THAT near to the hob..) but in all, it was a nice, quiet - if unusual one.

Next to Halloween, Christmas is my favorite time of the year. I love the lights and the tree with all the decorations, I love Christmas eve and having some eggnog and just enjoying it. We don't go out or anything usually, but we have made it a Christmas tradition to watch some of our favorite movies.
Usually on Christmas eve with some eggnog we watch Scrooge from 1970 with Albert Finney, our favorite version of A Christmas Carol. Then we'll watch Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol as well as the other shows. It's very relaxing and peaceful, though I'm usually asleep in my chair before it's all over.
The, Christmas morning. Some coffee and breakfast, then watching my wife and step son open their presents. I don't usually ask for anything, nothing I really need or want. But, I listen all year to things she mentions and try to surprise her.
Anyway, we love it. I even like the commercials even though some are pretty irritating.

On a side note, the 1970 Scrooge with Albert Finney was the one I grew up with always seeing it on tv as a kid in the 80's, so I guess it's the version I favour most.
Yeah, I'm hoping I can still go to my sister's this Christmas, I'd rather it not be 2 years in a row. It's most about giving for my I have two (Now grown up) nieces and one of them has a kid so it's very much for her now. It'll be a little different now I guess as both my nieces live away so we'll have a chill morning until they arrive I guess then presents later, but it is all about the little one these days, as it should be. Late dinner 1pm/2pm. Chill afternoon with either visting family on my brother-in-laws family the next day, or going to theirs.
I too never ask for much, there's not much I really want or need so it really is more about giving for me.

We'll have another small Christmas at home instead of going back to visit family because that's a 12 hour drive! With mask restrictions in some places still, it makes it an unenjoyable vacation. Plus when I stay home I can sleep in and relax

I'm still really hoping to be ale to go to my sister's as I'd rather not make it two Christmases in a row to miss.

Maybe eat outside if the weather is nice enough?

We could probably have a few windows open/patio door, but December in the UK - I'm sure it will be far too cold!
